About Counselling

You may benefit from counselling if you feel stuck and want a better understanding of who you are or the experiences you have had. Counselling can help with many different issues that might present themselves.

My clients are from all walks of life, but they share one thing in common: they are all seeking change. People come to therapy for myriad reasons – often they feel lost, ‘stuck’, anxious, depressed or wish to understand themselves, improve their relationships or cope better in day-to-day life.

What Happens in Therapy

You will usually have a number of planned, regular weekly sessions lasting for 50 minutes. How many sessions you have, will depend on your individual circumstances. To enquire, Email me to find out more.

What you talk about in your therapy sessions is entirely dependent on you and the approach will vary, depending on the issue you want help with and the type of therapy you are getting. It could include:

  • your relationships
  • your childhood
  • your emotions
  • your thoughts
  • your behaviour
  • situations or events you find difficult

Finding the right therapist for your journey is very important. If you would be interested in coming to see me:

    1. Send me an email or call me to get an Initial Consultation set up.

    2. During the Initial Consultation, we can explore what brings you to therapy, what you would like from therapy and you can ask me any questions you may have. We can discuss how we might work together and how I can best support you.

    3. If you're happy to continue we will set up ongoing sessions and arrange to see each other weekly at a time suitable for us both.

Therapy is strictly confidential, and my integration includes psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural approaches.
